Phase 2 - Trailwood Place

  • Phase 2 residences along Trailwood Place are anticipated to be ready for occupancy in late Summer 2026. Approved residents will receive updates as completion approaches.

  • During early release, units are secured by layout type (Ground Floor or Upper Floor). Specific building placement and municipal address are assigned closer to completion and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Yes. Trailwood Place is a private road within the Forest Run community. Phase 2 residences remain fully integrated within the overall development.

Availability

  • Select upper-floor units in the original Phase 1 building are currently available for immediate occupancy.

    Ground-floor units in Phase 1 are fully leased, with an active waitlist.

    Phase 2 units are now pre-leasing ahead of completion.

  • Viewings may be scheduled by directly through our booking page.

    Approved applicants may be offered priority viewing opportunities.

  • Forest Run is designed around well-proportioned two-bedroom residences. We do not offer one-bedroom units, and current development plans continue to focus on this layout.

    Future phases may introduce additional residence types; however, no alternative layouts have been confirmed at this time.

  • Forest Run is currently the only rental community operated by Valley Management.

    All current and future residences are located within the Forest Run development in Cambridge, Nova Scotia.

Pricing & Lease Terms

  • The introductory pre-leasing rate is $2,095 per month, secured for the full initial 12-month lease term.

    Upon full public release, residences are anticipated to be offered at $2,200 per month.

  • Phase 1 residences are offered at $2,095 per month.

  • Monthly rent includes:

    • Water
    • One parking space
    • Landscaping
    • Snow removal

    Residents are responsible for electricity (power).

    A second parking space may be available for an additional $50 per month, subject to availability.

  • Initial leases are structured as 1-year fixed-term. Other fixed-term durations may be considered upon request.

Application & Securing Process

  • To secure a unit, applicants must:

    • Submit a completed rental application
    • Receive approval
    • Execute a signed lease
    • Provide the required deposit to hold

    Once these steps are completed, your selected layout type is secured.

  • Yes. Deposits are fully refundable prior to occupancy should plans change.

    Upon occupancy, the deposit becomes the security deposit and is held in accordance with the Nova Scotia Residential Tenancies Act.

  • Yes. Phase 2 residences are currently available for pre-leasing. Qualified applicants may secure a runit by layout type prior to completion.

  • No. Forest Run residences are leased as complete two-bedroom homes. We do not rent individual rooms or facilitate roommate matching.

    If two individuals wish to share a unit, they must coordinate independently and submit completed applications together for approval.

    All occupants aged 18 and over must submit a completed application.

Community Policies

  • Yes. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis.

    Generally, a maximum of two pets is permitted per residence. Dogs are typically limited to 30 pounds, although flexibility may be considered depending on breed and temperament.

    All pets must be approved prior to occupancy.

  • All units at Forest Run are strictly non-smoking and non-vaping. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted inside the units.

    Smoking outdoors is permitted provided waste is disposed of properly and it does not interfere with the reasonable enjoyment of other residents.

Community & Greenspace

  • Is there access to outdoor space?

    Yes. Forest Run includes approximately one acre of shared greenspace, along with access to a private 1-kilometer forested walking trail.

    The community is designed to balance privacy with natural surroundings, and future phases will extend further toward green space as development progresses.

  • Forest Run is situated in Cambridge (Kings County), with easy access to local amenities, employment, and schools:

    Nearby communities:

    • Coldbrook: ~3 minutes by car

    • New Minas: ~11 minutes by car

    • Kentville: ~10 minutes by car

    • Berwick: ~9 minutes by car

    Schools across the road and nearby:

    • Cambridge & District Elementary School (just across the road)

    • Central Kings Rural High School (just across the road)

    • Other local schools in Kentville, New Minas and Berwick serve younger and older students in the region

    Commuting to work:

    • Valley Regional Hospital (Kentville): ~15 minutes drive

    • Apple Valley Foods (Kentville): ~7 minutes drive

    • Grand View Manor (Berwick): ~9 minutes drive

    Residents enjoy quick access to everyday services, employment hubs, education, and recreation throughout the Annapolis Valley — all within a short commute from Forest Run.
